Aviation Data & Analytics for Government and the Public Sector
AeroCraft supports government and public-sector aviation work — civil aviation authorities, transport ministries, and regional development agencies — with reliable aviation data and custom analytics platforms for connectivity analysis, transportation planning, airspace information, and strategic infrastructure decisions.

What aviation data do public-sector bodies need?
Public bodies make long-lived decisions about airports, airspace, and regional connectivity, often with a mandate to justify spending. They need to know how well a region is connected today, how that has changed, which communities depend on which routes, and what the effect of an intervention — a route subsidy, an airport investment, a policy change — has been. The data exists in schedules, movement records, and aeronautical information, but rarely in a form that analysts can use directly.
What can AeroCraft build for government and public agencies?
- Connectivity analytics: direct and one-stop reach from each airport or region, tracked over time
- Route-subsidy and grant evaluation: before-and-after performance of supported routes
- Transportation planning datasets combining schedules and historical movements
- Aeronautical information tooling built on AIXM, ARINC 424, and parsed NOTAMs
- Dashboards and reporting portals for internal analysts and public transparency
How do you handle the standards public-sector aviation uses?
Government and authority systems are built on formal aviation standards. AIXM is the XML model for exchanging aeronautical information — airspace, navaids, routes, and airport data. ARINC 424 defines navigation database records loaded into flight management systems. NOTAMs carry operational notices in coded ICAO format. AeroCraft works with these standards directly, and our NOTAMs API decodes raw notices into structured fields that software and analysts can filter.
How do you meet public-sector requirements for security and transparency?
Systems are delivered with documented architecture, infrastructure defined as code, least-privilege access, and audit logging. Data handling follows the confidentiality terms of each engagement, and platforms can be deployed in the agency's own environment. Analytical models are transparent — assumptions are stated and reproducible — so results can stand up to scrutiny from oversight bodies and the public.
The underlying data infrastructure is the same that runs Skyinfo's coverage of 7,883 airports across 233 countries.

What does a regional connectivity study include?
A connectivity study answers how well a region is linked to the places that matter to it — economically, socially, and for visitors. It measures direct destinations and frequencies from each airport, the number of destinations reachable with one connection within a reasonable journey time, and how both have changed over recent years. It identifies which communities depend on a single route or carrier and are therefore vulnerable to its loss.
The study compares the region with peers, highlights the routes whose addition would most improve reach, and estimates the effect of candidate interventions. Results are delivered as a report for decision-makers and as a dashboard analysts can keep updating, built on schedule and movement data rather than one-off surveys, so the analysis can be repeated each season at low cost.
Where agencies already hold their own datasets — passenger statistics, airport financial returns, or survey data — these are integrated so that connectivity can be read alongside economic and social indicators.
Frequently asked questions
Can you work through public procurement processes?
Yes. We respond to requests for proposals and can scope work to fit framework or call-off structures.
Can platforms be hosted in our own environment?
Yes. We design for deployment in agency-controlled infrastructure where required.
Do you evaluate route-development grants?
Yes. We build before-and-after analyses of supported routes using schedule and movement data.
